Default stupid coil question

Hey,

I was simply wondering, why is there a sense to install coils? why do they need to be ''head up more then heads down'' idk if you understand but euh!

thx!

Not completely understanding the question, but if I had to guess at what you are saying:

Q: Why are the majority of the coils on a spring supposed to be on top?

A: I would guess its so you have less unsprung weight on the vehicle, though in my opinion the difference is negligible at best so long as they are both installed the same direction.

I can't think of any other reason. At least not in our rear spring application.

Nope, so long as you installed them the same you're fine, I think mine are in "upside down" as well. Oh well haha

Mine have majority of the coil at the top. Also the printing on them is right side up.
