Default Cluster and tail lights DO NOT work

My cluster, air setting illumination, tail lights and flood lights all do not work. My brake lights and my headlights work though. The weird thing is that when I press and hold up on the mirror adjuster (to the passenger side) everything lights up again. If I press and hold the mirror adjuster on any other position it does not work. Does anybody have any insight for me?
