dimming lights

when i am driving the lights to the cd player and everything else will go dim and then brighten back up....what is going on here?

During the day? Guessing your autolights are turning on and off.

well that depends on the setup you have, do you have any subs in it, or additional lighting things which could cause a higher draw at times? In a dimming light situation here are the basics to check;
1) battery condition, is it holding a charge
2) alternator output (with the battery in the trunk and that piddly little charge wire it hurts the electrical performance of the car a bit)
3) Are all connections tight and clean at the battery and ground.

it's just straight stock right now...that's why i want to fix it now b4 i do everything ...it has done it the whole time i have had the car day and night.....i'll check the basics and get back at you guys....thanks
