Default HID Problem...

I got this 10k HID kit, i plug them both in and neither of them work lol... am i doing something wrong??... i just came across a How-to guide and it said something about grounding ??... i dont remember any ground wires, mine basically just had 2 loose wires w/ prongs that u plug into the stock 9005 socket

not properly grounded they wouldnt work...

isnt the ground wire one of the wires that plugs into the socket tho?

i'm not understanding...

i plug them in and the HIDs dont work, my headlight bulbs still work tho... so the ground going into the socket must be fine

it came as a little box, the HID bulb w/ plug, and the 2 wires w/ plug, and they all plug into the box, i can understand 1 not working but whats the odds of getting 2 shitty ones

when mine came in, i had to attach the wires to the plug b4 i could plug it in

Isn't it 9007

hid kits should be plug and play.

Depends on the kit! Some are not total pnp
