malfuctioning front speakers

Hi, I just bought a 06 cobalt coupe from a small car dealer as is and today ive notice my front speakers dont work but my alarms on the car and turning signal noises do.. Im just a bit puzzled on what mite be causing this?

in an 06 the chimes and turn signals dont come from the speakers only the newer 07-10 have those thru the speaker

i would check your fuses first, notorious for burning out fuses. at least mine was

fuse could be a possibility but if the radio is playing as is the back speakers then it cant be a fuse. the only possibilities for front speakers not playign while the rears are fine are: speakers wiring and HU. If the setup is pioneer then you can add the factory amp as a possible issue. (i just assumed it wasnt thou)
