Default Headlight Bulb Suggestions.

I want to get brighter headlight but I don't want Hid's.

Has anyone used the Phillips X-treme or GE nighthawk platinum bulbs.
If so how do they compare to stock and how long do they last.

They will be a little brighter than standard 9007 bulbs but don't expect them to last as long.
I don't recall the details on brands but the standard bulbs are designed to last about 1500 hours iirc, the really bright ones are only expected to last around 300 hours. Would expect the major brands "premium" lights to fall in between there somewhere.

I'm sill looking for bulbs.
I waited because i didn't know what headlights i wanted.
But i'm getting a set of factory style lights painted black.

So i'm thinking of the 9007 HID's but can't find decent pics of them.
I don't want to be blinding others with them.
