Get 6k with 55w ballast, drops em to about 5k and makes them brighter

i had 12k(purple) on my car for a few months, never got anything from local PD about it...

K SO if i wanted the white HID look what bulb K should i go with 8000k is brighter than 6000k right?? or other way around?

i've gotten tickets for tail light covers, license plate lights, too low to the ground, no inspection, muffler violations, you name it i probably got it. never for HID's.

6k has a brighter light output 4.3k is the "nominal" temp. 8k will just be bluer. That's why I was saying go with 6k on 55w ballasts for a bright ~5k output.

this or 6k with 35w to have 6k i wouldnt go any higher or lower if u really don't want to be hassled

6000k and up is the same light output its just a differen't lumince thats all
