All you're going to get, from any forum, is opinions.

I personally love projectors. You can run them in your reflector housing but your stock housings were created for halogen lights not H.I.D.'s.

That's why you see every single car that actually does have H.I.D.'s has some kind of projector's.

Whether or not you choose to run projectors, it's completely up to you. But it's defiantly do-able.

Gen 1's in mine with ccfl halo conversion. But to answer 1 question which hasn't been yet, hid's in the stock housing will have the light going everywhere like a normal light, which is the setup that usually blinds people when your on the road at night. A projector housing will give you a nice cutoff about the height of the light and only put light on the ground where it's needed, not blinding people.

To give you an idea-

Normal housing:

i've had pilot 8000k in stock painted housings for over a year. no glare, no tickets, no problems. gen 4's are the new projectors, they don't look bad if you ask me and I am very critical of that type of headlight. retrofitting is cool butttt imo those round projector thingies are ugly to begin with. my hid's work fine in stock housings.

IMO that's a very generic opinion.
