Default Reverse Light Flasher

Does anyone know if the Cobalt uses any similar parts to other vehicles...say the Impala or..less likely the Tahoe...basically any "Standard Police Vehicle" made by GM...by Parts I am talking about Wiring harnesses wiring...even bulbs. I am trying to find a way to get the reverse lights to "wig wag" or flash...I do Emergency Roadside Assistance on public roadways and Currently have Amber and Red but could use some white light to the rear when on the side of the road or...in a lane of traffic as has been the case...

--EDIT--

According to the OSRAM SYLVANIA bulb replacement guide..in 2009 Both the Impala and Cobalt use bulb 921..and in my area I have seen Police Impala's with the Reverse lights flashing...

Well I have Strobes in the Brake lights which of course flash red...my Dealer/Installer who is a Whelen/Code 3 Master Distributor looked at the housing and thinks that the Whelen 60 watt Strobes would melt the lens over a (short?) period of time...What brand and wattage are the strobes you use?
