Default Ticket for blacked out tail-lights

Just got a ticket last night in MD for having the blacked out taillights and reverse lights.

I used nightshade to tint them - what kind of chemical should I use to put them back to their original state?

You may need to buff the lights out after you apply a chemical to them.

Dont use paint thinner, you will melt your plastics. Just pick up an extra set of tails at a junk yard or something.

Else = sand it off with like 800 grit and move to finer stuff once you get the paint off, finishing with 2000 and buffing it after that. You can use meguire's headlight restorer to buff it back.

Ended up sanding them down and leaving the sides black... Looks alright.
