Grinding Noise right after shutting off car

The title pretty much explains it all. I turn the car off, and after everything has stopped, there is a quick grinding noise.

I know nothing about cars. '08 Cobalt, bought it the end of January. It is driving me insane already...Ideas?

ETA: It has about 47K miles total on it.

Is it a grinding followed by a click? If so it's your throttle body closing.

where does the noise come from in the car? prob the fuel pump and throttle plate

Thanks...like I said, I know nothing about cars, and I don't really know anyone who knows cars, so, all these new noises (I had my last car for 8 years) are making me twitchy.
