HUGE problems with my cobalt!!

I was drivin down the highway all of a sudden the engine light came on so i pulled over onto some side streets and stopped when i did the traction control light came on so i decided to just try and make it home well when i took off the automatic tranny went from first to second and slammed into gear... and this happend about 5 months ago and it is still happening... local mechanics around here have no idea what the problem could be? my car is an 06 cobalt ss with the 2.4 motor with automatic tranny... if anyone has any suggestions of info please help.....ashlyn_ward@att.net

Hi the same thing happened to my friends g5. its probably one of your fuel injectors gone. hook it up to a scanner to see which one it is.
