i dont see how id need 31lbs of boost to make 450hp

lbs means a lot less than people make it out to mean, if you have a GT1241 and a GT6041 both pushing 8lbs of boost there is a huge difference in the CFM which is something we are more concerned with. It's an estimate on that page anyways.
