Default 2005 chevy cobalt

I am trying to change the starter on my 2005 cobalt. i read online and follow the instriction disconnected the battery and remove cables connect to the starter. the remove the bottom 15mm bolt . i can not get the upper 15mm bolt remove. it seems dont have enough space for even i have small hand. do i go from the top or do i need special tools? if someone have step by step guide with picture...would be nice...thanks.
