Smile AutoLoc remote locks

Has anyone installed an AutoLoc remote lock, key less entry system on their Cobalt? I have a 2008 LS coupe. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

Rolls up windows and manual locks for me. No motor means less weight means .34 extra WHP! LOL

so you dont have power locks right ? best buy i think its $100-$120 a door . this is something you want to take to a shop to do . it can be done . locks need to be power locks then you get car alarm / keyless entry installed .

also you can just make the just the driver door power lock and keyless and reach over to get the other doors for people lol

That's what I want to do. Just get a motor with a receiver to unlock the driver side door when it rains or snows. Passengers can wait the extra 3 seconds lol

Default power lock

Just don't do like me,got a PWD lock kit from ebay last January cheap 30$.with 2 remotes.Worked for 6 weeks then the remotes quit so it was the same buy a new kit than send it back for warranty. So i changed the box under the dash, worked for 2 months and quit. The remote don't work but you unlock the driver door they all unlock or you push down the driver side plunger they all lock.As soon as i find a new box (reliable) i'll get cause as far as the door actuator they are all the same.Took about 8 hours to install and any aftermarket kit you have Mcgiver to make it fit.Let me know if you want to know more.

you should shop around and not do it yourself . this is one of them things if you dont know what your doing you can mess shit up . its worth it to just pay someone $100 to make a power door and $50 for a autolock kit . or you could do ebay $30+8 hours of your time then in 2 months $30+7 hours ( cause this time you will know what you did last time ) lol

I didn't mess shit up ,the kit was shit, the second time i just change the box under the dash,2 minutes max.Now i will buy a box from Autoloc for 55$ and put it in 5 minutes. You don't have to pay 100$ to put it in unless you're a real nerd
