This is a discussion on cams within the LS, LT, LTZ forums. This is the beginning of the post; What cams would y'all suggest? Do they only go to stage 2 then blower cams? Do I need anything else ...

Default cams
What cams would y'all suggest? Do they only go to stage 2 then blower cams? Do I need anything else w these other than a tune and someone to install

blower cams are a stage 1 intake and a stage 2 exhaust cam.. i have them and my car idles just fine.

doesnt comp cams make some good quality cams for 2.2s?

i have stg 2, its not bad, but if you like comfy dont get them lol, idles are rough. other then a tune you dont need anything, they do have a stg 3, but i would use it for track only

i dont mind if its uncomfortable. performance first lol. yea my car will be both street/strip so im not gunna get stage 3.
