Question check engine light won't go away..ughhh

i just recently bought a 2007 colbalt ls 2.2L and i've had several issues with the engine..so far the dealer has fixed head gasket, seal tubes?? that they put in upside down the first attemp..retards!!..3rd cylinder coil pack..they also left disassembled..<<really>>.. valves, fuel injectors..i've put in all new spark plug after all that.. my coolant temp. is zero'd out and check engine light is back on.. it sounds like my fan is over working..i mentioned this to my roommate and he said that if i don't get this problem fixed that my fan and water pump are working over time and they'll go out??? i'm a female with little to no experience..i know the basics..and can comprehend when ppl explain what's going on with my car...i know for sure the sensor needs to be replaced guess my question is..if my sensor is out does this effect those the waterpump and fan or how does this issue effect my car....????

go to autozone or someplace that scans the ECU for free, and get the code that it is displaying. come back here and let us know. honestly, there really aren't very many cobalts that have a lot of problems. they are a pretty solid car except for the damn suspension. couple questions first, just to somewhat diagnose.... how hot is your coolant going up to? what kind of gas mileage are you getting? and does your car idle rough at all?

I would recommend following the advice of your local dealership, *REMOVED*

We're working on that right now.

Tricia, please do not ask for users personal information until we have confirmed your identity. Surely you understand.
