Default Dead Battery

OK, I need some help, my car was stolen and I was able to retrieve it. I have a 06 Colbalt LS. The problem is the battery is dead and it's located in the trunk!! The only key I have is stuck in the ignition and I can't get that out unless I can charge the battery. Is there any way to pop the trunk?

there is a pull-out portion (similar to an ash tray) located on the left side of the steering column....the trunk button is in there...
