Default Electric Supercharger?

I'm a little new to installing mods and everything into cars, so I just found an "electric supercharger" there about $180. Are they worth it? I have a 2007 cobalt ls. is this little upgrade worth it?

dont its a scam. it doesnt do anything. the only supercharger that you should buy for your cobalt is a eaton m62 and it takes an entire kit to swap it onto your base model

alright thanks!

when i was reading about it, it just didn't make much sense to me how there would be an electric supercharger.

---------- Post added at 06:20 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:19 PM ----------

the eaton m62 is designed for a 2.5L-4.0L. how is that super charger supposed to work if i have a 2.2L?

"The Eaton Supercharger Model 62 is designed for 2.5L to 4.0L passenger car and light truck engines, but may also be suitable for other engine sizes, depending on total system performance requirements."

I dont have any other performance upgrades so.... please inform me.

m62 come stock from the factory on the cobalt ss from years 2005 to early 2007. most 2.2s get their superchargers from them. costs upwards to 1200 for a brand new one. where as you get a used one from another cobalt owner for 300ish
