i think you should start with suspension first, i promise you wont regret it. the base models come with the "weakest" of three suspension levels on the cobalts...

I would upgrade the following:

Move to FE5 Struts and Shocks (crateenginedepot.com)
Peddar springs- you can also get this in a bundle from (crateenginedepot.com)
LNF Fe5 Front strut bar (i have one with endlinks and bushings 40 plus shipping
Powell Race Shop Rear Sway Bar

don't you think a powell rear bar would be overkill for simple street driving?

i guess ill toss my own business in the ideas. if your looking to add a few small things at lower prices . eyelids fender stripes... more or less a bit of personal touch.

rims and tires do make the ride tho.

ill let you look down the list but you save money in the long run ordering the combo...the struts/shocks/springs are a little of 600+ shipping, just save up for a bit and you will have the best suspension combo short of coilovers...

I have a FE5 front strut bar with FE5 endlinks that i was going to put on my car and have been trying to sell it b/c i dont want to just throw it out. problem is it is a irregular shape and shipping isnt nice.

the rear sway bar or course you do have options but the best one by far is the bar made by Powell Race shops, ill have to get you an email if you want more details on it
