Default New to Modding

I plan to start modding my black 09 ls coupe. I wanna start with rims upgrading from 15 inch to 16 or 17 inch. And also a new muffler to improve sound. Anybody with advice is appreciated. Pretty much I'm looking for ideas on where to start with modding

first off i dont think i told you welcome yet.....so ..lol

secondly....it all depends on what direction youre going with your modding e.g. power/performance, looks/cosmetics, or (my personal favorite) all of the above...and from what it sounds like in your post...youre going for both...

for the rims....a relatively easy/cost effective upgrade is the SS/SC or SS/TC rims (both are 17s)...

i cant give a good answer for the muffler because it depends on the tone/loudness/etc youre going for...some sound great...some sound like a$$...lol...

for basic modding...

power/performance...most people start with intake, header, exhaust, lowering....and go from there..

visual/cosmetic....debadging, tint, tinting tailights, HIDs, lowering etc ...

hope it helps...

I believe you have a 4x100 bolt pattern, might be wrong. But you're not going to find traditional tc runs because they're 5 lug. You can find aftermarket rims anywhere online really that look like them. As stated above, Don't get anything smaller than 17

As far as a muffler, I'm going for a nice deep tone without sounding ricy.
