Default radiator fan reset?

So my check engine light came on and I realized my fans are always on even after the car has been off for hours and its 30 degrees outside, is there any way to reset them? Suggestions? Thank you everyone

Default

try pulling the negative battery cable and let sit for 15 minutes before plugging it back in. granted this will reset everything
