Exclamation trifecta help plz

alright so i got a local tuner here in south fl.. he said he can tune my balt for 300 bucks... my mods are cold air header downpipe 2.25 exhaust 2.4 mani and 90 shot... he told me that he has to tune my car for nitrous.. but i kinda wanted to get an all motor tune cuz i dont spray every race. he told me that its unsafe to run an all motor tune and spray.. is there any truth in this and if i get the nitrous tune will i see any differnce in performance wen im not spraying ?

-we have to subtract timing to make the NOS safe
so, it might not make quite as much power when not running NOS
-i have solved this on LS1 by modifying PCM code to switch timing tables based on grounding a pin at the PCM
-so you can essentially have two tunes in the PCM
-when he flips the NOS on, it also switches tunes
-it can be made to work on L61
i just need to write the code to do it

i was supposed to tune a G5 on 100hp and it was the question i ask for vince

ask your tuner about that, it possible.

Is it a wet or dry shot? I it's dry u must tune for it. If it's wet than don't sweat it. Get a all motor tune.

Yeah I thought about he timing thing. U may want to ask Vince I he can do selecable tune on ur car like on he lnf, so when cruis control is on u cam be on n2o tune and when IRS off u can b on na tune

so the only differnce is the tune is that the timing is retarded a bit ? and wat is unsafe about running a all motor tune on spray? because im running the spray now without retarding the timing

its a wet kit .. i dont think they offer a switchable tune for the l61 do they ?

you running 50 shot that ok. but 75 dont not spray on fourth gear

retarded timing is needed on nos for optimized it

wet or dry a tune is always better


switchable tune on l61 : it can be made to work on L61
i just need to write the code to do it

so spraying in fourth isnt gud ? lol cuz i always spray fourth gear lol... so u can put a tune together for me ? does trifecta offer a loader that plugs into the ob2 harness to swtich the tunes ?

i have seen someone burned 4 piston on 75 hp in fourth gear. it up to you

you have to speak with your dealer. but you have all info here to get what you want for your project.

or buy EZ and a tune and you could directly speak with vince about your project.
and when riding you can always log you car if something is going wrong.

how much is the ez and tune ? how much power should i except for a tune ? on and off spray? cuz it kinda seems like it aint worth it lol

and itll give me a better power band .. remove seepd limiter and pe delay, and move rpm to 720o rpms right anything else ?
