Wierd Noise from Intake

ok so some times when im driving my car, my intake will make a really odd noise around 1k-1.5k RPMs. but it only does it when the RPM's are dropping not when their rising. I have the Injen intake BTW and have it in SRI mode

what could the problem be?

what kind of noise? honestly need either a video or a better description....like a weird sucking sound, or a cluck, or a whistle...ya know....

well i would get a video but the noise doesnt happen EVERYTIME i drive my car, just every now and then, mabey once a week

as far as the noise goes..its like a wierd sucking sound, but why would it be sucking if the gas isnt being pushed?

maybe the starting of a vacuum leak? check and tighten connections...

allready done that, mabe my filter is bad?

whens the last time you cleaned it? does that filter need to be re-oiled?

i have no idea, it came with my injen intake when i bought it bout 1 1/2 years ago, i kno now that injen intakes come with a blue filter, mine is red

check the filter cone for tears?
