Racing Solution header/downpipe

I just installed Racing Solution's mid-length header and downpipe with cat. The header is available with 1.5" diameter tubes for the normally aspirated LE5 with their 2.25 collector and downpipe. I got them polished silver ceramic coated and they are extremely good looking. The workmanship on the header is also excellent. The flange is .5" thick, the tubes are welded and ground to the port shape and the inside of the collector was finished very well.

The whole installation was straight forward and every thing fits really well. The only surprise was the head to header studs need to be removed for the header to pass what I call the water distribution box halfway down the engine on the rear driver's side. The seat of the pants dyno says it is an improvement in performance, but the header sound from 3000 to 5000 rpm is what is impressive! I highly recommend these guys for their customer response and for a product that is exactly what they say it is.
