mod suggestions

hey guys, i'm sort of new to Cobalts. i just picked up my 06 SS/SC a few months ago and after physically searching the car trying to learn the ins and outs, it's definately time to mod it. i already have an injen cai, i'm just thinking a catback and stage kit will be all i need for performance.

so what catback would y'all recommend?

what stage kit?

i'm not worried about warranty, i'm a mechanic by trade so i can fix it if it breaks.

from what i heard the ottp stage one kit is better than the GM stage 2 kit

BUT...The GM kit won't take away your warranty if you get it installed by the dealer.

i'm seeing some stage kits come with a "canned" tune.... thoughts on those? should i just buy the parts and get a custom tune at a performance shop?

depends. IMO custom tunes are better.

that's what i was thinking too.

what do you recommend for a catback? i just want something less restrictive with a good tone. price isn't that much of a factor but.... just like everyone, i love a deal.
