My Oil Guage Is Broken?

like i said. that goes off the time the engine is ran/ the turn of the cam shaft. nothing to do with oil at all. never and i mean NEVER!!!! go by this

the funny thing bryson is with GM's maintenance package that was available. the fine print states that the oil life monitor must be below either 10% or 5% i can't remember before they will do the maintenance for free. but in my car i don't i don't go by the monitor i go by mileage.

ditto, i've reset my gauge a few times on my own, i never worry about it, just make sure you change your oil consistently.
