Default questions

Im looking into getting a 2007 cobalt ss and have a few questions about it.

If the car has aftermarket headers does that eliminate the factory warranty?

It has 37000 miles any maintenance I should do right away?

Anything i should look for?

My old man is worried about the supercharger breaking, how do they hold up long term?

My dealer told me as long as I keep a cat in the system they would not have any problem with it. So it all depends on your dealer. As for the supercharger it should last you a long time as long as you don't over spin it for a long period of time. I have a 2006 with a 2.8 pulley installed. That's just my 2 cents worth. I know some people have been running smaller pulleys for a long time.

Check the pads, change the oil, change the spark plugs... nothing else is really REQUIRED at that mileage. General upkeep.

They're quite robust. You shouldn't have a problem with it.
