Charge pipe only causeing low mpg and louder exhaust?

Yo so my friend has only charge piping to his 2009 cobalt ss with like 78000 miles. we believe that after many no lift shifts and such that maybe the cats might be burned out? it sounds a lot louder than any stock ive heard. maybe its just running rich or lean and he might need gm stage one to fix his problem but i need to see what you guys think?

charge pipes wont void warranty on anything but the charge pipe. if its stock tuned with a problem with stock part warranty it.

burned out cat wont make exhaust louder. shot cats smell... horribly.

Powertrain warranty ends at 100k mi.

Prob broke the flex pipe on the dp if you've beaten so. I have 33k on my 09' maybe done a total of 10 NLS

I've got an 09 as well and NLS like no tomorrow, currently at 56k mi. Going strong on my CIA dp.
