this is how to install the prothane poly cab's for cars with fe1 suspension.
you will need to get the poly bushings

step 1
remove control arm by removing 1 rear control arm bolt(21mm head)
2 front bolts(15mm head)
and 1 ball joint bolt(15mm nut,16mm bolt).

remove the rear bushing by pressing it out or you can remove the rubber and carefully cut the metal sleeve and tap it out. i tried both with good results.
remove the front bushing by clamping the metal bar in a vice and hitting the control arm with a large dead blow hammer or equivalent.

take the front bushing and remove the rubber from the steel bar.

if there is any rust where the old bushings were you need to remove it and paint the bare metal.before you install the bushings. remember lube is your friend!
grease both halves of the front bushing and slide them into the control arm. then grease the steel bar that was in the original front bushing and press it in.
now take the rear bushing grease it up and press it in followed by the steel tube lube it up and slide it into the bushing
important there is a small radius on one side of the rear bushing this has to go towards the top of the control arm.
step 4
now that both bushings it is time to install the arm.
you want to grease the bushings anywhere they will touch metal.
