Default How to: Remove Automatic Shift Knob( any year)

Tools Required:
Hands
Car
Automatic transmission
2.5mm Allen Key

Step 1.
Start the car.
Put it in Drive.
Pull the E-Brake

Step 2.
Grab the chrome piece at the bottom of the shifter and Twist it Counter Clock Wise WHILE pushing it down. Here is what you will get:

Step 3.
Located on the exposed brown plastic on the backside of the shifter is a screw. Get your Allen Key and unscrew it a couple of turns, you don't have to take it all the way out.

A better shot of the screw:

Step 4:
Pull it off and you now have successfully removed your automatic shift knob

Hopefully I won't have to explain how to put it back on........
