should it matter how wide the rim is for an 18inch rim? I thought all 18's fit from 195-255ish? or does my newb knowledge fail me?

it has to do with width not diameter. 215/45 r18 for example 215 = width, 45 = aspect ratio or side wall height and r18 is the diameter of the bead

i'll figure out how big wide it is, i'm running 215/35's on my stock 18's, and just wanted to use them for the new tires, cuz tires are such a rip off

that's what i said, width 195-255(width) on 18's. To my knowledge which might be flawed, the ss/sc and ss/tc rims will fit a 195-255(width) correct?

255's will fit if you roll your rear fenders a lot. i had 245's and they rubbed so bad i had to get new ones.

no, i just didnt like the way 245's looked on a 7 inch wide rim after i realized height is better than width for drag racing. i was kinda a noob back then lol

got any pics of what the 245's looked like? were they 245/40/R18's? cause i'm going 245/35/R18 and hoping to save myself from needing any fender rolling.
