Default Wheel offset Question

will a 18x7.5 with a 38 offset fit?

what about a 18x8.5 with a 38 offset?

yeah...decent to crappy fitment. I have yet to experiment with wheels cuz i spend my money on stupid crap but a 35-30 offset should be pretty flush with the fender. think about it like this. our stock offset is +42, take a ruler and measure 4mm outward from the center of the wheel. that's where the outer lip of the wheel with +38 should be. cobalt owners always fail at wheel fitment.

anything from +45 to +35 will fit.

More than 45 and you start to find rubbing issues on the inside.

Less than 35 and you run into issues with the fender, which you can roll/tuck/pull.

lol, true. I think i need a +30 or +25 on the rear. I have to use a 5mm spacer to clear my RPF1's it may have something to do with the 2+ degrees of camber :hehe:

oh yeah, duh, -2 or a little more haha, haven't measured into it. Be careful shimming the rear, it wasn't designed to me aligned.

yeah it's meant for correcting a solid rear the cheapo way. the vw guys do it often but then again you also see them doing some reeeally stupid shit. i do alignments myself pretty often so it will be on point i can tell you that.
