sfwg: Only need an adapter if you are an 05-06 I believe, if you need one talk to Cobalt Tom. We made one in his dads workshop out of lexan, its been on my car for about 20k and still runnin strong.

06blackbalt is an 06 and no adapter is needed unless your 2005.

I'm an 06, and I needed it. Huge air gap if you dont use one.

Also, I made the gasket between the adapter and TB out of cork gasket material.
