it's been called "Rally-X" too lol, it a giant gravel parking lot area that never gets used, when it's actually winter there is snow covering the whole lot and it's all snow/ice. This past year at the end of 2009 the mentally retarded ppl running this city tried to close down our only track and in the process we lost many days of competition that had to be made up at somepoint and it was decided that we'd just run in the gravel and hope maybe we get a random dump of snow right b4 an event. They ran the 1st half of the events in the snow once the details with the track were worked out but we still lost all those events that should have taken place in the snow. The lot itself is part of the race track property and they never use it for anything.

All in all it's so much damn fun to push your car to it's limits on gravel and be required to remain in 100% control to acquire a good lap time. I've got 1 more week till the 2nd last event and I hope to nab one of the top 5 FWD spots at the end of the competition. After that the final competition I am hoping to gain at least 3rd place after having 3 full events to get comfortable with my civic and learn how to carry more speed through certain corners. The course also changes ever week so it's always very interesting.

Lol sweet, definetly not something I'd do in the balt solely because I like the paint, but if I had a honda like you do hell yeah I'd be all over that! Our tracks change every event as well.

Typical auto-x events are always a different course setup every event, the same course would get boring. I would have done it in the cobalt but the front lip would have to be removed before every event lol that thing would get destroyed. And, for paint lovers there is always painters tape, lotta ppl that do summer auto-x also put painters tape over the spots where they are known to hit cones, the same could somewhat apply to what i'm doing lol.

hell thatd be anything at cone height on the whole car lol

I scrubbed 2 cones in my old balt, wasnt anything a buffer wouldnt take out, but it wasnt black.

Tow vehicle, multiple rally vehicles were present that day, about 5 in total I do believe, and only one or 2 were actually driven to the event, the rest came on trailers on being towed behind a vehicle without a trailer.
