hey guys not new to the forum thing but the g/f got an 05 cobalt 2 door. and she loves it and wants to make it more her car.. mod's! and that makes me a happy b/f girl who likes cars? awesome! but first we have to get it to running specs before, it falls on its face at ideal but no vac leacks..doors lock and unlock for what seem to be no reason.. so i disconnected the d/s master switches. some other things ill have to look in the tech section . will be looking for some deals and parts to make this car better then she already is.

My first mod was a cat back exhaust made at a local muffler shop, cost me $75 total (includes labor and pipe)

An LSJ header and downpipe frees up a couple ponies. For the cat back go with 2.5" and a good stainless muffler and resonator.

doors unlocking and locking are from the switch . wife left her window down in her coupe just enough that water could get into the switch and kinda puddled up in there . also snow falling on the door and melting . i put new driver side switch in and the problem stopped . also had to show her to clean the snow around the door before opening it ......
