P0601 on my fiance's ION

CEL came on for half the day and now it is off.


While it was on I ran to advance auto to get the code P0601

DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) - P0601 ENGINE CONTROL MODULE CHECKSUM ERROR

There's an issue with the computer and a basic review and diagnostic test should diagnose it. But I couldn't tell u 100% what it is but a basic search in google for the year car and code does bring up some suggestions. Id say don't drive it and get it to shop
