there's a drill attachment that you can buy that gets that stuff off without damaging your paint as long as its on metal panels. it will eat through the plastic bumpers and such.

True but you still have to be careful with it or you may get burn marks. I wish I could sell you guys the stuff I use for removing vinyl graphics and tar. In 60 seconds loosens every adhesive I tried it on. Took the emblem adhesive off like butter on hot corn.

i hear a citrus cleaner works well.. i forget what its called but its what i used to get my goo off from my bowtie etc.

its in a like "air freshner" bottle style.. white... with an orange on it.. home depot uses it to get the sticker gunk off the metal beams
