hey guys what would be a good car to make it into a race car ... will be my first rebuilding project but am not sure what make is better than the other and cheaper =)

well ls is cheaper, but it would depend on what you were going to do with it exactly

If you wanna build a race car pick a chassis that is light to begin with, its easier/cheaper to make something light go faster and handle great than something heavy. an MR2 would be a good start, or a Miata.

If you want to build a cheap fast car, go with a Fox Body Mustang 5.0 Pick the car up for around 2-5k depending on condition. Build it to 600+ HP for a simple 5-7k more
