swapping in a turbo question

Okay so I am thinking about buying a 2007 cobalt ss and of course it is s/c.... I would buy an 2008 ss but the price just isnt right.

So my question is, can I take out the s/c and then put in a k04 turbo? Am I going to have to change a lot of stuff out such as headers and any other things?

You could sure, but you're going to need a lot of parts to do it, new manifolds front and back, whole new intake setup, charge pipes, intercooler, the turbo itself you should go with something bigger than a k04, exhaust downpipe. Honestly you can find a used SS turbo for cheap now, save up a couple more months and get one.
