Default 2005 VW Jetta GLi...

So I've been seeing this 2005 Red VW Jetta GLi around town, before and after work so we must have pretty similar schedules. He's got 18" black rims and what appears to be a modified exhaust. Anywho, every time I see him, we try to get a race going but traffic is always a problem. Well not this morning... we did and the result was a TIE.

The race... we started at about 40... he honked and jumped about a car on me... once I mashed the gas to the floor, my car down shifted to second and took off and I was about .25-.5 car in front of him... he was catching up VERY slowly but then I shifted into 3rd and again was in front... he shifted and caught bck up but we stayed even to the end... if my car would have shifted into 4th, he would've been mine... 100 mph in 3rd gear... not bad.

Car specs found on internet:
1.8L Turbo puts down 180 HP and 173 TQ
Curb Weight = 3106 lbs.

Just thought I'd share.
