Want a New Race Track In Alberta?

Hi,

I am the VP of the Hanna Test Centre, which is located south of the town of Hanna Alberta. We have built a test track that was originally designed for vehicle handling testing, compliance testing as well as driver training. Over the years we have had people ask us about racing and we have always said that we do not offer that, only because the track was not set up for it, being a single lane for the most part, as well as the cost of extra insurance. However the board has just had a conversation and decided, if there is enough interest we will start to entertain the idea of adding a racetrack on and around our test track.

So I am just dipping my toes in and asking on a few forums for peoples reaction. To build the extra things needed for racing we would look at some sort of collaboration with a racegroup or groups.

I look forward to reading your replies. Racing is a very big thing in Alberta and to help the community out would be great.
