CEL problem w/ muffler?

new muffler causeing CEL?... hmph....

We put a racing muffler on my GF's 2.4L cav, she couldnt afford a full exhaust so she baught a big muffler for it, it's really loud in the car, its not leaking newhere, just for some reason its really loud, and then the CEL came on last nite, i'm thinking its cause of the muffler .... maybe to much back preasure? or not enough??...


i'm putting a aero exhaust resonator on it today, do u think that'll help the problem???

check to make sure the o2 sensor didnt get tugged around and either loose or broke

I doubt a muffler caused the cel. Could just be coinsidence...there is no sensor near a ld9 cavys muffler...and a muffler won't cause a del from less backptessure or anything of the sort
