Default I want to mod my cobalt

hey guys im kinda new here and i was wondering if you guys can help me out here. i currentlly own a 07 chevy cobalt lt 2.2l engine and i trying to see what is the best thing i should do first to mod the engine performance .remind you everything is stock im tyring to pimp it out to the fullest.but have no idea where to start.
