NEWBIE NEEDS SOME HELP...please...

Hey guys! So i just got an 05 cobalt. Test drove it and it seemed fine but... On the way home form the dealer it was acting up a bit... I went to pull out of a gas station and it stalled out.. I restarted and kept driving but when i would slow down and come to a stop, the idle drops low and the lights dim like its about to stall out again, then it idles back up, then drops low again and it feels like its gonna die again... Then it goes back to normal idle... I would say its a IAC but I don't know enough about these to be sure... Has anyone else had this problem?? Other than that, everything else seems fine. Trans works fine, plenty of power, ect... Any help would be great! Thanks!

Mine did that then never dd it again I dunno what it was could airher be fuel air or spark

aww that sucks! the day you take it home and its acting up? adjust the idle switch?

How many miles are on it? Could be bad plugs, clogged air or fuel filter.

There is no idle switch.

Take it back to the dealer. Since it happened to soon after buying they will prob be like uh,wtf. Plus what steve said they should be able to find out if its something easy like that.

and to keep you from stalling again at idle.. 2 feet it. one on brake one on gas and lightly hit the throttle here and there should keep it going.
