please someone help motor swap now wont start

hello all to make a long story short someone ran me off the road busted my oil pan wide open and the motor seized up i know i should have turned car off stupid on my part well the mechanic put a used low mile motor in we scraped up money from the family well we call him and he says he cant get no reponse from the fuel injectors he said he used they wires and everything from my old motor does anyone know why it wont send signal to the injectors or motor wich ever i looked up stuff on google but not much luck does the dealer need to reset computer or something anyone please help been getting rides to work starting school in 2 weeks just frustrated and the guy drove off like a bat out of hell never stoped to check or nothing and about hit 2 others down the road
ps its a 2005 cobalt 2.2 eco

reset the computer? unplug the battery touch the cable together for 30seconds. go on leave it unhooked for about 15-30 mins then try it

im sure he has tryed that someone said the motor vin may be diffrent from my vin and the dealer may need to reprogram the computer to be compatiable with the new motor

Get ahold of Vince at trifecta see if he might can help cause it would be cheeper to reprogram it cheeper

i got it it was a bad motor lol put a 06 motor in my year is a 05 but same motor but it runs like a top now shew

hey so did u end up getting the computer re programmed after u found that the motor was bad. cuz i have a 05 cobalt that i just put a 06 motor in and its not getting spark everything else is work just there is only power to the pink w/white strip wire all others have no power let me know my options please
