Power-steering Help

Okay so I need some advice.

Into driving my car for about 10-15 minutes I get a notification on my display that reads: "Power Steering". Then that's when my power steering goes out.

Then when I turn off then back on my car it goes back to normal. Then when another 10-15 minutes pass by of driving, it does it again and goes out until I reset the car.

Could it be a fuse problem or something else?

i have yet to get the recall as well..

be glad that you got the recall for you guys. My car burned thru 2 columns, I had to pay to replace one, but worked for a dealer so I got it done with a good discount, but it was still 700, second one GM reluctantly replaced after I bitched about it starting to fail right after the 1yr warranty. had to pay 250 for labor on that one.


I hear its about 1200 if you get the whole column replaced when out of warranty.

Still pisses me off that ION's arent included.
