Storing vehicle for the winter

Hey guys quick question, i am about ready to store my car for the winter and was wondering what else besides putting fuel stabilize in the tank and disconnect the battery and also put a cover on the car and put it up on jack stands. I have done this for the past winters and just wondering if i need to do anything else to it??

looks like you got it down . but i do start the car from time to time

when i put my car away.
i change the oil just befor it goes away
fuel stabilizer
remove battery
crack window very very slightly (to let air in and out but not unwanted guests)
i tape a bag around my airfilter
and crap off the muffler (again don't want unwanted guests making a home in there)
car cover

-many people will argue that its really bad for your car to start it and run it for short times.

just wanted to get an idea on what you guys do and it seems pretty much the same as i do
