Default Very strange

Yesterday at the track I noticed something hanging from the back of the car. It was the fuel tank strap, it had come loose.
Anyone else have this happen?
I'm wondering if the bass vibrated it loose. Never heard of it happening before.

I know, my amp is only a 600 watt, so its not like I'm over loaded or anything.

It has more to do with the resonant frequency than volume, but its entirely possible to rattle it loose. I vibrated the O-Shit handle off on my LT back in the day. the screws came completely out of the roof and it fell onto the seat.

Loctite + Breaker Bar = No More Problem

How long have YOU owned the car? I only ask because some Cobalt models have a recall out on the Gas Canister... so its possible that the tank was dropped at one point to have it replaced. If this happened, then it is also possible that the tech did not properly torque one or two of the mounting bolts.

No I bought it new and that isn't one of the things they've replaced due to recalls.
