|  Boot and shift knob replacement help.
okay, so i don't know if it has been posted or not, but if i bought a shift knob and the boot, how would i go about installing the boot ? ive never done anything along the lines of this before, but are all boots and shift knobs the same ?
the cobalt boot and shift knob lock onto each other, are other ones the same ? i understand you cant get a new shift knob without the boot .
